The Living Lab CEDLIO Slovak Biodefence Centre serves as national biodefense centre that, in cooperation with partners in the project Smart Transformation and Innovation Consortium Slovakia especially municipality Horne Srnie,  ensure research, development and implementation of innovations supporting municipalities and regions in their facing biological threats, extending its scope towards multiple challenges of safety and security in public spaces with special focus on people with specific needs, children, older people, disabled.
