Conference was very successful, the number and origin of participants, quality of presentations and active discussion were at the high level. A number of actual issues have been raised. The discussion tackled some important topics from referent European and global documents adapting them to regional specificities and the situation over West Balkan’s countries, with serious problem of their implementation. Issues of utmost importance presented at the Conference were: transnational networking of cities, climate change perspectives, demographic change and migrations, urban identity and other urban issues. The presentations with discussion pursued new opportunities for the future of spa-ce.net, its activities and enhancing the mode of organization together with widening membership. The selected presentations will be further analyzed and elaborated via books or articles, and some key messages could be passed to relevant European or national institutions.
